Chants of "Aquí estamos. ¡No nos vamos!" ("We're here. We're not moving!") rang out on the evening of May 13th, 2015 through the streets around Maverick T station. About 75 people, majority Latinos facing displacement, took part. The march, organized by City Life/Vida Urbana, visited key buildings where new investors are forcing Latinos out. "Most of the evictions...are no-fault and are directed at working class people of color," said Andres Del Castillo, City Life's organizer in East Boston.
