Once up on a time – not long ago but right now!… in a galaxy – not far away but right here on Earth!… there unfolded an epic struggle.

The People’s desire for democracy (the 99%!) has been thwarted by a corporate ruling class, led especially by its financial wing, the emperors of the Wall St. Banks. They are symbolized by the cruel Count Bankula, who tried to disrupt the City Life press conference two days ago.

The People have organized a “Rebel Alliance”. Organizations like City Life and the Bank Tenant Association have held Count Bankula at bay, winning back homes. A new powerful movement known as Occupy has emerged, lending strength to the Alliance. Together, they have formed the Jedi Knights (Jedi = Justice Engaged Destroys Inequality). They use the shield and the sword (in this case light sabers actually).

But Alas, the Rebel Alliance is confronted not only by the powerful Count Bankula and his Wall St. Banks, but also by government agencies that have been drawn to the evil side of The Force.

On Monday, December 19, the Jedis plan to confront Count Bankula at the offices of HUD. It seems that HUD has insured some loans by Wall St. Banks. Upon foreclosure, HUD pays off those banks’ loans and takes possession of the home. BUT, HUD requires that Wall St. Banks evict occupants before transferring the property. HUD is being captured by the evil side.

At HUD, we hope our testimony and strength will pull HUD back from the cliff of the evil side of The Force.
